Adelaide Proposal Photographer: Edward & Erin
When I get an email with the request to photograph a proposal, my eyes light up. Proposals have to be my favourite types of shoots. Why? Because who the heck wouldn’t get excited at a proposal! I just adore them. The thrill, the romance, the fun, the love - all of it. That’s why, when Edward reached out to help plan his special moment for his partner, Erin, I knew we’d capture something magical.
Edward and I planned to meet at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens a week before he would ask the big question. We introduced ourselves, had a chat about his relationship and how he and Erin met, and then went on a walk around the gardens to find the perfect spot to propose. 10 to 15 minutes in, we found the most idyllic spot between two pine trees. It was the perfect spot and there was even a park bench nearby so I could strategically sit down “reading” on a park bench with my camera hidden while I waited for him to get down on one knee.
