As the sun set behind Adelaide Oval, its iconic silhouette lit up in soft twilight, setting the scene for the Triple 0 Gala - where we’re fortunate enough to be the Adelaide photographer for. Known for its sporting glory (aka the space where Travis Head hit 140 off 141 balls against India), the venue was transformed into a stunning backdrop for this special night—a silent auction full of elegance, community spirit, and plenty of top notch vibes. From the start, it was clear this event was going to be something special.

More than 300 guests arrived, dressed to impress in glamorous gowns and sharp suits. The excitement was palpable as attendees made their way through the grand entrance, where staff greeted them warmly and handed out glasses of sparkling wine. There was an undeniable buzz in the air—the kind that comes from knowing you’re part of something meaningful. Live music by the talented Rudy DJ Chew played softly in the background, adding to the warm, inviting atmosphere. Adelaide Oval’s function room looked incredible—tables decorated with glittering crystal centerpieces and cozy lighting that made the whole place feel magical.

The real star of the evening was the silent auction. Guests gathered around tables lined with incredible items: luxury getaways in South Australia’s wine regions, autographed memorabilia from artists like Taylor Swift and Coldplay, and one-of-a-kind experiences you couldn’t buy anywhere else. There was something for everyone—from sports fans eyeing signed Port Adelaide jerseys to art lovers captivated by bespoke pieces created by local talents. A private dinner with one of Adelaide’s top chefs caused quite a stir, sparking plenty of whispered bidding strategies. Using a smartphone app, guests could bid discreetly, adding a modern twist to the classic auction format.

As people browsed the auction tables, there was plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and chatter about the amazing cause they were supporting.
