Adelaide Baby Shower Photographer: Dinar

Oh our hearts. If there’s ever been a more lovely two of Dinar, and her husband Wai, well, I’ll have to reconsider everything I know. We’ve been fortunate to have Dinar and Wai in our lives for just short of ten years now, having seen them become parents for not once, not twice, but thrice now with the coming over their newest little cherub. That’s why we caught up recently for Dinar’s baby shower.

One of THE (and our) favourites of the Adelaide vegan Korean fried chicken scene, +82 MiMi, was the location, in downtown Sturt Street, Adelaide. The venue allows itself to be a natural haunt for Dinar’s friends guest list, as a large portion of it contained some of Adelaide’s food bloggers. So whenever dishes came out, the phones came out. And boy, the dishes didn’t disappoint. With Frankie’s fingers flickering on the shutter, there wasn’t enough digits to snag any of their delicious vegan options until Dinar force-fed her on the way out.

With guests already knowing the gender of the forthcoming human, Dinar’s beautiful design decisions were obvious with 50 shades of blue, decking +82 MiMi with a balloon arch, and a wonderfully made Peter Rabbit cake.

There was no other way I would have spent my Sunday arvo than with Di and her beautiful friends/family, and of course the new baby coming in the next couple of months.

What a joy it was! Thank you for having us there for your last (maybe?) baby shower.
