South Australian Event Photographer: Adelaide Festival 2024 at Lot Fourteen

This year, we continue to return as a media partner for Lot Fourteen, while helping to mark its impressive partnership as the host of the Adelaide Festival hub.

Here's a picture - a warm Thursday evening in March. The city pulsing with the rhythm of the Adelaide Fringe and Adelaide Festival. The CBD transformed into a bustling epicentre of lively smiling faces, attracting a diverse array of local and international performers.

Here on the lawns of Lot Fourteen, patrons indulged in delicious food from the wood fire grill, and ice cold refreshing drinks from the pop-up bar, atmospheric music, and engaging conversations about their rich artistic experiences during the exhilarating β€˜Mad March’. But for this event, it was for the Lot Fourteen punters.

Open from Wednesday to Sunday, from the early evening until late into the night, the Adelaide Festival Hub extended an open invitation to everyone to soak up the warm summer nights. Whether celebrating mesmerising performances, meeting like-minded individuals, or simply seeking a relaxing evening under the stars, Lot Fourteen was the ideal place-to-be. More than a venue, the Adelaide Festival Hub was a catalyst for connection, creativity, and community, exemplifying the beauty of sharing local art experiences in a space to bring together a diverse set of individuals.

Beyond its newly established role as a cultural hub during Mad March, Lot Fourteen houses South Australian Space Industry Centre with; Australian Space Agency and Australian Space Discovery Centre, poetically intertwining art and science to push the boundaries of local creativity and discovery. This innovative space has already left a significant mark on Adelaide's cultural landscape, and we look forward to seeing how it will continue to shape our city's art and science scene. It is well branded by its spaceman mascot, who we can assure you was not only very professional but a very real astronaut as per the photo evidence πŸ˜‰.

As the Festival Hub opened its doors each evening, we were reminded of the power of shared experiences. The laughter and cheers, the conversations and connectionsβ€”all these elements came together to create a tapestry of unforgettable experiences that we aimed to capture with every shot. From the moment one steps foot in Lot Fourteen, one embarks on a journey of inspiration and discovery. The atmosphere invites exploration, learning, and engagement with the world in new ways.

We eagerly await Adelaide Festival’s return to Lot Fourteen next year.
