Adelaide Tourism Photographer: Journey Beyond 2025 Season Launch

It’s not an everyday sight to see so many leading figures of Australia's travel media and trade industry gathered in one place. But, true to Journey Beyond's spirit of inclusivity, they were all warmly welcomed at the beautiful Adelaide Parklands Terminal. The atmosphere was filled with laughs and chatter whilst everyone anticipated news and business updates from CEO, Chris Tallent.

From our lens, we captured vibrant colours that decorated the event, interactions of industry greats, and the strong leadership direction of Journey Beyond embodied by Chris. This wasn't a conference, It was a well-crafted social event filled with idea-swapping, and the CEO himself sketching out the roadmap for the company's future.

We were lucky enough to be the Adelaide event photographers with the opportunity to document every moment from the beginning; which started with a powerful Welcome to Country from Robert Taylor and Michael O’Brien on the history of the iron rail on Kaurna land, followed by an address from Zoe Bettison, the Minister for Tourism and Multicultural Affairs. Their words echoed around the room and set the tone for the day.

Following the introduction, the room buzzed with excitement as the full 2025 program was outlined, followed by a walkthrough of the locos, with all three Journey Beyond trains present and an exquisitely crafted showcase lunch from the company’s renowned food and beverage manager Matthew Snare.

It was a pleasure to capture the reactions of everyone as they soaked up the exciting details of upcoming ventures, and it was easy because it was smiles all around when new partnerships were announced (and rest assured, we got snaps of all those moments of joy and surprise).

The pinnacle of the event was the preview of the Gold Premium rail carriages with their refurbs. The crowd was visibly impressed, and we had the awesome opportunity to document these awe-inspiring carriages, particularly the decomissioned wooden carriage.

The event announced their new onboard partnership with Jurlique, building on their existing partnerships with Champagne Bollinger and R.M. Williams, as well as the development of a new travel experience with Paspaley. They launched Outback Spirit's full 2025 program, with a dedicated flagship brochure now available, along with their new corporate social responsibility program, called Journey Lightly.

Thank you to all who made this a day to remember, we’d love to be your Adelaide event photographer for activations like this, so get in touch with us here to enquire.
